Jeremy Bennett

Jeremy Bennett is currently embarked on PhD studies at Magdalene College, Cambridge. His research focuses on the development of the agrarian landscapes of Malta and Gozo, particularly the rise of agricultural terracing.
The pursuit of this theme requires a multi-facetted and inter-disciplinary approach utilising geoarchaeological methods, geographical information systems and cognitive anthropological theory. Jeremy began his archaeological career at Queen’s University Belfast, studying for a BSc (Hons) in Archaeology-Palaeoecology then subsequently for an MSc in Archaeology and Environment and an MA in Cognition and Culture.
Aside from terracing, Jeremy’s archaeological interests are diverse and driven by an abiding passion for understanding the human mind in the past.
