Dr Eleanor Betts
Dr. Eleanor Betts is a specialist on the archaeology of the Iron Age central Adriatic Italy, with a special focus on sacred landscapes. She has published books and articles on the Piceni and aspects of multisensory interpretations of Iron Age and Roman culture. She has led several tours to Rome and Pompeii, and lectured at the Universities of Reading and Oxford. She currently works in the department of Classical Studies at The Open University.
