Dr Sandy MacGillivray
Dr Sandy MacGillivray is an archaeologist specializing in the Aegean Bronze Age, and the civilizations of Crete, the Cyclades and mainland Greece during this period. He has excavated at Sparta, Paros and Kythnos, in Greece, and at Knossos in Crete, and he co-directed excavations at Palaikastro. Sandy is particularly interested in the relationship between Greece, the Cyclandes and Crete and the cultures of Turkey and the Levant during this turbulent period, and the continued interplay between these fluid communities.
