Kenya born, Irish by blood and UK resident, Ben Kane’s passion for history has taken him to more than 65 countries, and all 7 continents. An honorary Doctor of Letters from Bristol University thanks to the research in his novels, he has walked hundreds of miles in Roman military gear, including Hadrian’s Wall (twice), and is known to lead historical tours in Italy and Germany. Eleven of his twenty-one novels have been Sunday Times Top Ten bestsellers. Published in fifteen countries, he has sold in excess of two and a quarter million books worldwide. He lives in Somerset, UK, where he writes full time.
