
Diana Blumberg
Diana Blumberg is an archaeological scientist specialising in the analysis and conservation of archaeological materials. She is currently engaged in advanced postgraduate study at Sapienza University of Rome. As artefacts supervisor on multiple field schools at Pompeii and Portus in Italy, as well as at Birdoswald Roman Fort in the United Kingdom, she has trained students in identifying and processing a wide range of finds.
Alongside her fieldwork, Diana has shared her expertise in the classroom, teaching archaeological laboratory classes at Newcastle University, delivering lifelong learning courses in classical archaeology at the University of Southampton, and lecturing on undergraduate modules at the University of Winchester.
