WELCOME.  THIS IS ANDANTE TRAVELS, A UNIQUE COMPANY OWNED AND RUN BY ARCHAEOLOGISTS.

Over the past 25 years we have created a wonderful portfolio of holidays enjoyed by thousands of people which combine high level academic integrity with a relaxed format.  Our two different programmes, Travels in Archaeology and Bare Bones Tours, offer different ways to enjoy exploring and understanding the past - in ways which distinguish the traveller from the tourist: authentic hotels, time to explore and get around on your own if you wish; good local food and wine.  People who travel with us tend to come back again and again.  We invite you to find out why!

Scholars are deeply divided…
